Seeing reports that Charlie Creswell is a done deal but from a dubious source Joyfull you any news on this
1.) 23 Dec 2025 13:03:11
Merceri sorry, mate, IT may well be but I Havnt been able to contact anyone this morning, not surprising, I suppose
Can tell you that at 4 pm yesterday, WH have signed No contracts. Nor were their any done deals
Last I heard on. Sunday re Cresswell, it was WH and Sunderland, the leading lights on this, things may have progressed, but I would hold fire
As you know many were saying Adama Traore, was a done deal, it was definitely not, as I posted yesterday
Cresswell is a young player I would like to see at WH, let’s hope your info is. correct?
2.) 23 Dec 2025 13:20:39
Exwhemployee said yesteday Cresswell wants to come, but Nuno priortising a striker.
Not sure why we can't do both.
Sullivans scattergun is back, looking at kaio George, 3 forwards from Czech league, Rafiu Durosinmi, Albion Rrahmani, Mojmir Chytil and 15 domestic based players.
Supposedly agreed to sign that LB El karouani
3.) 23 Dec 2025 13:46:54
NO, definetly not. AL c'mon mate, what's A CB got to do with a striker, sorry mate I’m, trying to be respectful towards WH ITKs but that’s just silly talk, I’m suprised at it
As posted on Banter NINE European forwards on a list not 3, ALL risky business
WH are in a fix, no question
Important decisions need to be made, and pronto, ,
4.) 23 Dec 2025 15:01:40
Yeah doesn't make sense, maybe they are trying to play it down, i know in the past its claimed that certain things are held back to avoid potentially scuppering certain deals. For me i'm surprised better placed teams wouldn't come in for him, but first team football and a release clause might swing it in our favour.
With the amount of strikers being looked at i hope we get 2, as you say risky, they might not cut in the prem but they might be more than good enough for the championship if we do go down.
5.) 23 Dec 2025 15:10:45
Cmon Joyful. This is West Ham lol ? ? we always do the same. Bid on a player, get refused, so bid on another player, bid refused, go next down the list and so on
27 Sep 2025 14:49:18
Nuno confirmed and he will take charge Monday at Everton
1.) 27 Sep 2025 15:30:46
Let’s all get behind him
2.) 27 Sep 2025 16:49:07
A damage limitation appointment 5 games into the season, complete lack of ambition by the board more boring dross football on the way
Mind you wouldn't suprise me if he left in Jan after one transfer window with sullivan
3.) 27 Sep 2025 20:21:49
So who did you want appointing?
4.) 27 Sep 2025 20:52:56
I’m not sure Nuno is the right man for WHU. We don’t have the right players that suit his defensive/on the break type football. We’re all glad to see the back of Potter, but someone like Silva or Xavi would have been a better fit. Let’s hope it works out, but I’m not putting out the bunting yet.
5.) 27 Sep 2025 21:17:06
I don’t think Nuno is a good long term bet as stated his counter attack style can be found out and may not suit the players we have. But he deserves a good chance to change things before we start slagging him off. Some of us have spent the last 9 months slagging off potter this should be a good thing and is better than some of the dross we we linked with like Dyche and Cooper! I don’t think he will be an overnight sensation but let’s give him a chance
6.) 27 Sep 2025 22:19:33
Silva would have been better ( but sully won't pay compo) , moyes left cause the football was so dull they have made 3 appointments in 12 months or so since all managers that play boring football, Luke I said we gave a whole season ahead of us basically we are no where near panic time yet soon they have panicked and got a boring "safe" manager in
7.) 28 Sep 2025 02:23:41
Why would Silva come to WH, he’s settled at Fulham? If it’s about who we’d like to see as our manager irrespective we’d all say Klopp or Pep. If we’re being realistic with these owners we’re very limited as to who would take the job. For me staying up until we have new owners has to be the target and Nuno is possibly the best of the bunch in order to achieve that. I’m not thrilled but more optimistic than I was 24 hours ago. Bring on the boring football as long as we stay up ….
8.) 28 Sep 2025 09:32:29
I make you right Dabber. It was good hearing rumours that we might start looking at employed managers like Silva. But I agree why would he leave them and come to us? We are a bigger club but with loads of problems and probably a lot of managers wouldn’t want to work with our board. Plus many decent managers are possibly waiting for the man united manager to be sacked.
We have 3 basic issues at West Ham the main one is the board, then the manager and then the players. Much as we would all like a well run board management team to buy us out and then get in a good young forward thinking manager who will work with a DOF to pick the transfer targets and potential new managers and we all live happily ever after………. The chances are it ain’t going to happen all at once. And hopefully the new manager can get this bunch of players to perform better. If he can get our defence to defend properly that will be a start. I honestly can’t predict how this is going to go. Nuno had a good season last year and was decent at wolves but was a disaster at Tottenham. I would much more prefer someone like Xavi or the Bournemouth manager but this is what we have and just hope he gets a better tune out of these players than Potter. I would like to see some youth incorporated but not sure he is well know for that.
9.) 28 Sep 2025 11:23:07
The reason Silva would leave Fulham for another project is simple: he believes he’s taken Fulham as far as he can. Mark my words, if the right project comes along, he’ll be off. There were strong rumours a while back he would replace Ange when he was at Spurs. All coaches are open to interesting new projects if there is an incentive. Realistically, the likes of Klopp or Pep wouldn’t consider WHU as we all know, but I don’t think either would suit WHU anyway. Silva would, and he would see potential in the club. Therein lies the obvious difference.
10.) 28 Sep 2025 11:36:34
Good points well made Hammer-D, we have to take baby steps and this starts with Nuno. We need to get behind him because he’s got one hell of a job to do
11.) 28 Sep 2025 13:54:15
Tin I don’t know if Silva would have done well or not. I’m not saying your wrong but I see us as a sort of replica of Everton who sacked him along with a lot of other good managers and then ended up with the likes of BFS and Shaun Dyche only to end up back at square one with Moyes! He didn’t leave Watford for the great Everton project it was for the money and the big club status. He seems to do better at small clubs.
A lot of people were raging that we didn’t go for Amorin from Sporting, looking at what an absolute sh*tshow he has been at Man U we can count ourselves lucky. A man who has had a chance to bring in his own players, they’ve failed and only he plays one failing system. It’s funny we don’t hear those same voices now .?
I agree Dabber we have to get behind him and give him a chance, although that said that’s not open ended support we need to see a change in performance, team spirit and results. I wouldn’t expect it immediately but 6-8 weeks should be enough to see if there are changes, we can’t wait for Christmas or summer to get his own players in, we need someone who is adaptable and makes the best of what we have.
12.) 28 Sep 2025 14:28:27
I think Silva would have been a better fit, given the type of players we have. Nuno is very similar to Moyes, but he hasn’t got a world class defensive midfielder to call on like Moyes had. Our defence isn’t a patch on the defence Moyes had, and we don’t have a fully fit striker for counter attacks. The playing staff available to Nuno worries me. To be honest, I see Nuno as a sideways move. Of course things might work out and I hope they do, but I’m just not entirely convinced happy days are here again just because Potter’s gone.
13.) 28 Sep 2025 16:07:49
All I can hope for is a manager that can see his best team and incorporate some of the better youth players in there. The fans would get behind that. Potts, Earthy, Marshall could easily step up.
Potter was tinkering with the team all 8 mths he was there.
But the big one though will be January and who Nuno can attract to WH because we need a young striker and faster players. I'm hoping his portuguese revolution at Wolves happens for us as well. With these owners though tbh I'm negative. We need to get them out
14.) 28 Sep 2025 20:08:54
Hammer D disaster at Tottenham, really? I wouldn't call a win rate of 47% a disaster, David Moyes had a win rate of 44% in his second spell and Moyes has the best win rate of all our managers!
15.) 28 Sep 2025 20:17:11
Nunos tactics revolve around having a strong defence and a solid defensive midfield, the same as moyes tactics the difference between us and forest where they did well last season is forest had good defenders and defensive midfielders hence why I think we will struggle under nuno, I can see us still struggling by Xmas and then he will be under pressure already can't see much good coming out of this appointment it has panic written all over it to be honest
16.) 29 Sep 2025 05:50:41
Fair point Gerry I didn’t realise it was high. I just spoke to a couple of mates who are spurs fans and they said he was crap. But that is a decent win rate.
06 Jun 2025 11:47:55
So confirmation of permanent signings of Todibo whilst Ferguson and Soler return to their clubs
21 Apr 2025 19:16:24
Reports of a possible player swap between West Ham and Brighton Mavropanos and Adam Webster.Personally I wouldn't be against it
1.) 21 Apr 2025 20:58:35
Why stop at one player? Brighton can have a dozen, if they want them!,
2.) 22 Apr 2025 05:12:48
Rofl ? ? ? congrats to Leeds and Burnley but I fear they will be below us next season
3.) 22 Apr 2025 09:13:03
Not if we leave potter in charge, they won't be Phil.
08 Jan 2025 15:26:26
Official he's gone and all the Spanish coaching staff
1.) 08 Jan 2025 16:58:40
Whilst Loppy was never the right man for the job the way they have treated him is shameful to be honest, not to forget he has just lost his father then to cone back whilst it was virtually public he was going to be sacked is extremely poor to be honest, next it will be we didn't sign anyone in transfer window as we didn't have time to identify targets, our board are terriible
2.) 08 Jan 2025 17:19:43
Terrible?, you rate them too highly, as posted before, we have directors that are financial. Experts, but know less than the posters on this site about football
3.) 08 Jan 2025 19:06:22

24 Jan 2026 16:03:47
Amazing how much better we play without Kilman and Paqueta thought Scarles was outstanding today
1.) 24 Jan 2026 16:58:35
Great performance today, the first half was much better than the second, it’s a shame we couldn’t keep a clean sheet, but all we can do is keep winning to put the pressure on the teams above.
2.) 24 Jan 2026 17:42:11
Couldn't agree more. I know people will say "Sunderland didn't turn up" but we can only beat what's in front of us and how many times have we fallen at the next hurdle after a win in the league the week before
Dunno want Nuno is doing but that's the best all round first half performance I've seen from us in years. I thought Fernandes was motm and taty worked his socks of.
Nuno has a nice mix of busy players and soucek supporting the back works well.
Bring on Chelsea
3.) 24 Jan 2026 21:07:56
Chelsea away to Napoli late Wednesday night and on cusp of automatic places so should go hard team wise to maintain position. Hopefully we get the best part of a second XI on Saturday
4.) 25 Jan 2026 12:11:31
I think we have to go into the Chelsea game with the belief we can win it. We are on a roll and Nuno needs to encourage this rather than set us up defensively
5.) 25 Jan 2026 16:12:42
No choice but to try and win every game now, we need to be looking up at Palace and Spuds, Dyche and Farkes will be looking to match our results or just keep themselves far enough ahead of us.
Glasner has made his excuses and given up, Frank is really struggling and those two are where we can gain ground.
6.) 25 Jan 2026 18:08:59
Spot on AOI I think Palace are going into free fall and having the extra problem of Thursday European football ain’t going to help them ?
12 Jan 2026 19:02:11
Burton Albion in the 4th round away I don't think we have ever played them before but I may be wrong
03 Jan 2026 17:10:20
Every single one of them should hang their head in shame
1.) 03 Jan 2026 17:24:34
RIP WESTHAM
2.) 03 Jan 2026 17:48:55
Im afraid after that display i'm done with going to anymore games. My lad said "dad, who is the captain today cause nobody doing anything to get them going and on this display we'd be lucky to survive championship"!
Absolutely ridiculous
3.) 03 Jan 2026 17:55:19
It’s got to be said, I told you so. I hate saying that, but it was so obvious. Nuno is not the manager for us. Bowen is not club captain material. We have a bang average first team squad after spending nearly a billion pounds after about 8 years, and that’s being generous. If Nuno isn’t sacked after that, then I’m Bob Hope. Losing to Wolves? What can I say?
4.) 03 Jan 2026 18:38:37
I’d love for us to be bang average.
We’ve been relying on our young midfield trio to keep us going and they all had their worst games at the same time. The attack is totally toothless and the defence is a colander.
Perhaps I should be raving about not conceding in the 2nd half. There was s*d all else worthy of mention.
5.) 03 Jan 2026 18:39:04
I never saw Nuno as a long term manager and didn’t like his general style of play in some of the early part of his tenure I saw some improvements, youth given a chance, having a functional midfield at least and thought he could get us out of trouble. but there have been too many games where we have gone from winning to drawing or losing. The last half decent performance was against Brighton away but since the City game we have been dreadful culminating in today’s debacle. Yes he has to go but my problem is that we have the clowns at the top picking the managers which is why we have been in this position roughly ever since we went to the LS. Who’s next I would put a caretaker in charge maybe Robson or Noble, but we need this board gone ASAP as they rake in the money and it is us fans who suffer.
6.) 03 Jan 2026 19:20:45
Got to agree Tin. Who would you have in charge cause I can't see how anybody could turn it around with this lot.
As soon as I saw kilman on the team sheet I knew it was going to be a bad day. Worst defender in premier league history and yet Nuno persists
7.) 03 Jan 2026 20:30:27
A long term coach is a problem. Maybe a young pro-active coach who could cut his teeth in the Championship? As for short-term, maybe Bilic? Noble has no real coaching experience and we need a fire brigade appointment. My favourite for the job has always been Frank, but Silva is certainly more realistic. Anyway, we missed the boat on both of them thanks to our chairman. Until he’s gone, we’re never going to get off this cheapskate merry-go-round.
8.) 03 Jan 2026 21:04:53
I think because the situation is so dire, and we all know we are almost certain to drop. We may as well put a complete maverick in charge. Someone who throws caution to the wind. I’m not sure who that would be and also I don’t think we have the players capable of playing an attacking style of football. We seem to be following the Mike Ashley blueprint. He was lucky and got bought out not sure that would happen here
9.) 03 Jan 2026 21:54:41
Like Tin Legs said persisting with Nuno is kicking the can down the road. Weirdly we are no worse off point wise and position wise than we were this morning so our only hope is to beat Forest Tuesday and try and get our noses in front of them. I just don’t see that happening with this Manager and his Mr Nice Guy attitude. This group of players need a disciplinarian who doesn’t tolerate the lack of effort or energy shown in the first half today
29 Dec 2025 16:30:18
Let's face it West ham have been steadily getting worse since Stuart Pearce left the club. I seem to remember everyone wanting Moyes out during the last World Cup in Qatar. It didn't happen and don't forget how close we got to relegation in both of the last 2 seasons.
The sale of Rice was the straw that broke the camels back. To be honest you can't blame him for wanting to better himself. The players that came in after he went to Arsenal have all been average or worse. Poor long term planning by whoever is the problem and not bringing youth through when they could. Potts has proved how good they could be and Scarles been given some encouragement he wouldn't be making simple mistakes. Both Earthy and Marshall have been out on loan with some success and should be included in the match day squads.
The whole debacle around the transfer of Hermansan from Leicester shows how out of touch the whole management team gave been
1.) 29 Dec 2025 21:17:27
So true.
24 Dec 2025 15:28:01
It's Christmas Eve and I would just like everyone on what is probably the best of the West HAM forums a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New year and a particular thanks to a the Eds for their Hardworkbin keeping control lol

3.) 25 Dec 2025 22:28:32
Thanks Mac
24 Jan 2026 08:13:06
If it is
Fulham must be laughing their atsrs off not even particularly fast anymore well past his sell by date
07 Sep 2025 11:26:34
This was reported on Football Insider whicH I personally think is awful headlines to make you click onlh to find it either old rumours usually a year old or justvrinbish
29 Aug 2025 13:50:20
KWP can play left back could see a four personally think AWB Mavro Kilman Scarles would be best but can't see Potter playing Scarled
28 Aug 2025 10:55:08
Can we send JWP back to Southampton as part of the deal
24 Aug 2025 09:31:08
Joyful the one I remember more than any other wad Sullivan refusing to pay £1million for a player Sam Allardyce wanted his name Jamie Vardy who was scoring goals for fun at Fleetwood Town, I guess the rest of this decision is history
17 Jan 2026 17:34:42
Well Chris thought Tod and Mav were excellent ttoday as was Fernendez
11 Jan 2026 17:32:40
Totally agree Brooking amazing what you can do when you have 2 strikers on the pitch
11 Jan 2026 14:09:53
The thing about Thomas Frank at Brentford was he had a good board and a good coaching team around him. Brentford have pushed on this season
21 Oct 2025 00:03:54
I thought Irvine was the best of a poor crop. Paquetta is now a liability and the balance wasn't their at all. Doubt Mav will be fit for Friday so take it Igor will play or am I just praying
14 Sep 2025 08:33:31
The opposition just stand on the keeper and he's totally f****d his distribution is poor and his command of the area is non existent. The goalkeeping has been going down since this new coach replaced Xavi who's now at Liverpool.
