Nicola Zalewski? Interesting if true. Can play multiple positions
26 Jan 2026 08:46:32
I know we are crying out for defender but my other concern is that if we lose paqueta and Fernandes gets an injury we have no creativity in midfield
1.) 26 Jan 2026 12:32:56
Maybe Magassa could fill that gap? And Potts could develop his game, given half a chance. Who knows?
22 Jan 2026 20:27:01
West Ham are said to be closing in on the signing of Tochukwu Nnadi. 5 year deal on the table and talks progressed well but other premier league clubs are interested in him so if we want him, best we get this deal over the line quickly
1.) 22 Jan 2026 22:49:11
The next Kante?
2.) 23 Jan 2026 08:49:59
Yes Mac, posted that couple of days back, he’s close, young very busy player, he’s too good, for Warragem, still a gap to the. Premier, but looks like he will make that jump
WH need to close this quickly, they have been on this for six weeks, there was no interest elsewhere, as it’s moved around the agency, three other clubs, have started looking
3.) 23 Jan 2026 10:22:33
Leeds are now showing interest in him
£26m asking fee for Charlie Cresswell?
19 Jan 2026 16:06:56
Keiber Lamadrid? Odd one this one
1.) 19 Jan 2026 16:21:37
Below radar, but? Shot in the dark, or a player, ? no doubt we will soon find out
2.) 19 Jan 2026 16:40:19
Had a look. Both he and Kebbal look skilful, purposeful and very hard to knock off the ball (which is key in the PL) . Both have good stats for goal involvement.
Full of energy.
At the prices being bandied about:
Lamadrid = very cheap loan and very cheap option to but (no brainer)
Kebbal = £9m has been mentioned (looks an absolute bargain in today’s market) .
I know Nuno is a fan of Traore, but I’d leave well alone if these two are in the running.
I also want to know what’s going on the CDM and CB front.
3.) 19 Jan 2026 16:47:31
Its a sulli special. Loan with an option to buy for 1m.
Worth a punt really not much risk. Ones got to come off eventually?
4.) 19 Jan 2026 16:55:54
And clearly we can see what type of players Nuno wants
5.) 19 Jan 2026 16:56:38
U tube films mean nothing unfortunately, premier league a different situation, to where these players come from, the speed and intensity , sometimes comes as a shock
But not much of a gamble, involved
6.) 20 Jan 2026 00:37:01
I agree that YouTube “highlights” should be taken with a pinch of salt, but they do show plenty of information about a player. First touch, pace, ability to shoot/score, eye for the defence splitting pass etc, etc.
Of course, it’s not under the pressure of PL physicality, but no other league is, day in day out.
09 Jan 2026 18:35:16
Paqueta to spuds? Good
1.) 09 Jan 2026 19:12:51
In what way is that good?
2.) 10 Jan 2026 09:42:21
Selling our only creative midfielder is not good sell8ng to spurs is even worse
3.) 10 Jan 2026 11:00:54
Agreed. A really bad move.
4.) 10 Jan 2026 11:45:39
I think he is a shadow of the player he was. The way he was treated by the FA was disgraceful and since then he doesn't look interested so when I say good, I think its good for all parties.
Rather he went to flamengo but I think we would get better money from Spuds
5.) 10 Jan 2026 13:48:34
Maybe it's b3cause managers insist on playing him as a false 9 or play so defensive without strikers he doesn't have a chance to be creative? Or maybe it's because the rest of the team are so bad opposition double and sometimes treble up on him as there is no other threat?

Looks like Nuno has laid down the challenge and called Sullivans bluff by allowing players to be sold and thinning the squad, he has made it known we need to add players (not just defender and keeper) before the window closes.
We are desperately thin in midfield
1.) 29 Jan 2026 18:57:50
WH have just a small chance, of staying up
NOT getting in players required, will make that chance impossible
Sullivans call, 4 days to go, he will be the major shareholder of a club that loses at least 60% of its value on relegation
As I say his call!
2.) 29 Jan 2026 19:54:16
Yep and i think Nuno has called his bluff. let's see what happens. Could be interesting last few days
3.) 29 Jan 2026 20:50:26
Totally on board with what you are saying but am hearing from other places that Sullivan is putting out there that any player recruitment is totally at the behest of the manager. Which most of us know is complete bolo@@@ yet I suppose it’s his way to throw someone under the bus.
25 Jan 2026 15:51:33
Just watching this Brentford game and they are dog rubbish. How are they not down there with us
1.) 26 Jan 2026 01:39:54
I watched that too and agree. Crazy that they were in 5th recently and really should have beaten Chelsea away. They had three great chances in that game and faffed around in front of goal.
I actually think Palace and Leeds will sink down in the table. Forest won't be that far away either.
A lot of games to go and we're playing much better now.
2.) 26 Jan 2026 04:38:33
Wolves and Burnley are gone. The last place is anyone’s choice. Palace have the worst form currently.
3.) 26 Jan 2026 06:03:37
At least its getting interesting now lol
23 Jan 2026 18:03:08
Somebody please tell me why we always have deals during transfer windows which end up being a farce and here we go again with Paqueta.
He don't want to be here, he doesn't want to play so why drag it out
1.) 24 Jan 2026 07:37:34
I wouldn't call it dragging it out, more like getting what the player is worth. If Paqueta wants to leave, fair enough, but the board shouldn't give in to him and let him have his own way. If Flamenco don't want to pay what he's worth then he shouldn't be allowed to leave. If they're serious then they'll come back with the right offer
2.) 24 Jan 2026 11:16:44
Flamengo are the richest club in Brazil BUT, they are nowhere against European clubs, full stop
Paqueta can be held up, but doesn’t want to stay in Europe, so what do you do
Further, although Flamengos offer was better, the installments are too spread
TBH, if they offer a bit more. With tighter payments, I’d let him go
22 Jan 2026 16:53:38
17th richest club only two places behind Newcastle
22 Jan 2026 16:50:15
With 11 days left Its looking like Sullivan is probably waiting to see what money comes from sales before any further moves are made. On that subject the paqueta saga rolls on! Lamadrid not fit to play
28 Jan 2026 17:47:19
I forgot about Kante. Earthy and Orford.
Supposedly we were about to sign ilan kebbal (who Sunderland, Leeds and Ipswich are now after.
Also Nnadi was also on our radar?
28 Jan 2026 17:11:19
Irving gone, paqueta gone, jwp gone, Rodriguez gone leaves us a bit thin in the midfield? Potts, Fernandes, soucek, magassa who else?
26 Jan 2026 17:56:55
Please tell me we are not entertaining any bids for Summerville
26 Jan 2026 06:02:44
I don't but he would make a good captain
26 Jan 2026 06:02:08
Let's hope they give the money to nuno for defender
29 Jan 2026 19:54:16
Yep and i think Nuno has called his bluff. let's see what happens. Could be interesting last few days
26 Jan 2026 17:58:53
Not over by any stretch of the imagination. Have u seen spurs next 6 fixtures and palace play teams all around us fighting for there lives. i'm betting one if not both get dragged into it
26 Jan 2026 06:03:37
At least its getting interesting now lol
25 Jan 2026 09:13:18
I'd like to see Pablo and Taty fully fit and with a premier league season behind them. Its a hard league to get used to because of the pace and quality.
Give these guys chance
24 Jan 2026 17:42:11
Couldn't agree more. I know people will say "Sunderland didn't turn up" but we can only beat what's in front of us and how many times have we fallen at the next hurdle after a win in the league the week before
Dunno want Nuno is doing but that's the best all round first half performance I've seen from us in years. I thought Fernandes was motm and taty worked his socks of.
Nuno has a nice mix of busy players and soucek supporting the back works well.
Bring on Chelsea
