I think he would be a decent acquisition. We are not in the position where we can be fussy about who we take. Is he better than what we have? Well he is better than Killman and can play in midfield and someone with leadership qualities

If he can run faster than Kilman, spot a danger ball more often than Kilman and perhaps head the ball more often than Kilman then take him. He would become captain of the defence at least
