Returning from today's game we are all buoyed. Every player grafted. Not one player gave less than 100%. 4 4 2 worked today. The central midfield were excellent: Fernandes and Soucek, we all thought they were superb, although Fernandes slightly nicked potm due to his distribution.

A mention must go to Areola who is easily our poty to date.
If we play like this v Sunderland, we win.

I’m not sure it is Nuno that has been trying to get rid of Wilson from his (Nuno’s) post match interview Chelmsford. But could be wrong. I think it is down to the board to give the guy a proper footballers salary weather he plays or not. He has been one of the rare shining lights of the season

Hammer D it was definitely Nuno that decided to drop Wilson after he scored 2 goals against Bournemouth though

Agreed Tin Wilson is the best striker we have but he isn't a mendes client so doesn't fit into Nunos plans or pension scheme

Pablo has limited skill. He had a very good chance and failed to control the ball. We thought he looked panicked. Taty is a grafter, think he’ll be a success.

Yeah you are right about that Robbo but I don’t think it was him who was trying to sell him. I think Wilson had got fed up with the silly pay as you play situation. He must look at Killman and JWP and see how poor they play yet gets a big paydays week in week out no matter how well they play.

But Wilson plays in a position that his Mendes boys need to occupy. All this “he can’t play for 90 mins” was bullsh*t, and that’s why Wilson wanted out. Wilson is head and shoulders above Pablo and Taty as a striker. Anyone can see that.

Not quite sure what the difference of opinion is here? Yes he is better than Tatty and Pablo I never said he wasn’t. But why would he be replacing them why can’t we have all 3. And Nuno agreed with the interviewer when he said fans think it is better that someone who has played so well and scored a number of crucial goals would hopefully want to stay.

He is a proper striker, I think tatty is a winger and pablo may be a striker, who knows? But we have lost Guilherme and Fulkrug so if there is a one in, one out policyiwould say the new players have replaced them. Also we wouldn’t gain anything as he would leave on a free. He deserves to start more but more importantly to keep him he needs a contract
