Jamaal Lascelles Newcastle defender is in the last year of his contract, I know he's the wrong side of 30 but could do a job and organise the defence. ?

Certainly a useful player

WH are handicapped, in so far as any player now signing would be expected to make the drop with the club if it comes to that

Any player like Lascelles will try and stay in the top league if possible as first option

That’s why WH are finding it-very hard to attract certain players

Sorry fellas some of this stuff is like we are playing fantasy football IMO. We can’t just get players, they and their team need to agree. There is absolutely no appeal for any player to come to West Ham.

That is absolutely correct Hammer D, WH are less than zero as an attraction, for the vast majority, of players

There is just a small clutch of people we are an attraction for, lesser knowns, in order to get known, and tried professionals, who are willing to acknowledge, the drop, if and when it happens

Gallagher refused WH 3 weeks ago as I posted on here, because of this situation

Agreed Hammer D. Saw a post on here yday saying we should of moved on Paqueta and got Gallagher instead of Spurs. dreamland some people living in to think that's happening.

Chelmsford1944 its crazy talk. We are not an attractive side. Only thing we have to offer is wages and potentially first team football 6months before a world cup. But other teams can offer this and much more too.
