Hi Mike, provided we get halilovic, I think we would be better off sticking with what we have in midfield for this window (which means dumping song who was not that good last year in my opinion), and spending the money on Austin instead, that's where we need the most help at the moment because if recent matches are our benchmark then we couldn't hit a barn door from 10 yards.

Hi Mike, great insights, I wanted to ask you, you mentioned we have got 13.5m "spare" to go, on top of the already spent/earmarked 28.5m, making a total spend of 42, but how did you get to the 42 in the 1st place?

I remember the dgs saying they had 25m to spend, and, whilst they might have pitched that a bit low for commercial reasons, that seems bang on the mark considering they are on 28.5m?

HI, the budget amount of 42 m was told to me some time ago, this makes sense, as wh are up to 28,5 inc halilovic, not song expenses, if wh where to get mirallas for instance where is this money coming from, and a striker? Plus add ons plus the possibility of a payoff or two, my figure makes sense, don't believe all you read in the newspapers, regards IRONMIKE

Mike . appreciate the imfo. Worried about lack of goals we will need Song, Miralles, Hailovic and without a shadow of a doubt Hernandez, should Man U sort themselves out, for what could be a very long season . hopefully!

I think our squad is full (25) by now. Nolan, Jarvis, Maiga will play for reserves if not sold, like Piquionne did?

Hi, think that could well be the case, we really need to offload the excess baggage, we can't keep carrying and if that means payoffs so be it. Bilic needs to have as clean a profile in the dressing room as possible, otherwise I do feel they won't perform for him, perhaps we saw some insolence against Birkirkara? What was Tomkins thinking of and who exactly is Noble a role model for, puffing out his cheeks at someone who earns a fraction of what Nobs does, but had scored? If that happens in the Premier, our current optimism won't last. We have to get back to the levels of the 1st half of last season, how we played against Manchester City, what a game, that was the West Ham way.

Probkem is we can't get rid of the dole merchants, I understand what is meant by hallilovic ( if he comes ) and Lanzini on field together, but potentially there are so many games, it's a case of the more quality players we have the better! IRONMIKE
